Hans : Phoenix of the Southern Isles - Chapter: 8Chapter: 8 Something Worth Fighting For I sat on a rock formation a little ways off from the settlement. The palm trees above blew softly in the wind as I gazed up at the stars. I looked down at the completed artwork in my hands. That teen had masterfully drawn a woman he had never laid eyes on. Elsa looked exactly as I remembered her. She was standing cautiously, her dress blowing in the icy wind as she hugged herself tight. Her face gazed back at the viewer with worry and a seemingly never-ending cycle of fear. "Oh Elsa...", I thought. "If only things had been different." I thought back to the day of her coronation in Arendelle. I remembered sitting in the chapel as she stood poised and dignified. I thought back to myself carrying her down from the North Mountain, her unconscious self resting against my chest. She was abso
Trailblaze - Chapter: 16Chapter: 16 Unity It was around two in the morning at Cinderella's castle. Tomas slept silently while Ben snored away. Their window creaked open, as a figure crept in. Two more followed it as they snuck into the bedroom. Tomas turned over, accidentally squishing his snowgie companion. Lucky woke up and rolled across the floor. He stood up and shrieked at the site of the figures closing in. Lucky hopped back onto the bed and squeaked repeatedly, hoping to wake his best friend. Tomas remained asleep and the snowgie panicked. He bit Tomas on his fingers, causing him to awaken. "Ow!" gasped Tomas. He looked up to see a silhouette holding a blade. The assailant brought it down, but Tomas caught his hand and broke it. He kicked his attacker away and leapt out of bed. Tomas then lunged for his sword, but another assassin punched him back. Two more assassins swooped
Hans : Phoenix of the Southern Isles - Sneak Peek Princess Anna followed the peculiar sounds down the stairs. "Hello?", she wondered. "Olaf? Sven?" She lit a candle as a figure was illuminated in front of her. The princess gasped before dropping her candle, sending it crashing to the ground. "This way!", urged the Arendelle captain as his soldiers joined in. "The sound came from over here!" The men's boots stomped across the hall as one of the doors swung open. They watched as Vita barged through, holding Princess Anna hostage with a flintlock pistol. The soldiers drew their swords and stood ready. "Back up!", barked Vita as she twisted the gun's nozzle against the side of Anna's head. "Now!" Anna winced at the pressure. "I'll shoot her. You know I will! Back! NOW!" The men looked at each other, slowly backing up as Vita made her way down the adjacent hall. "Elsa!", hopelessly cried Anna. She then elbowed her attacker in the chest and threw a punch.
Trailblaze - Chapter: 26Chapter: 26 Revenge of the Raven Armed with a steel dagger, Tomas stood his ground, defending Nora from the Raven's clutches. The fiend circled around the room before landing across and eyeing Tomas. "Ssssscared?" taunted the Raven. Tomas remained firm as sweat trickled from his brow. "You're shaking, Tomas. May I remind you that showing fear is forbidden in the Maelstrom." "Do not speak of them, you savage!" snarled Tomas. "Oh...I'M the savage?" scoffed the Raven. "How many people have you killed on your trail of rampage, Tomas? Fifty?...One hundred?" "Don't listen to him, Tomas." said Nora. "He knows I'm right," cawed the Raven. "Face it, Tomas. You're a purposeless piece of reckless rabble, just waiting...begging for death! But why? Do you miss her, Tomas? Do you miss your apprentice?" T
Hans : Phoenix of the Southern Isles - Chapter: 2Chapter: 2 Mother Knows Best I sat on the edge of the bed as Mother fixed a washcloth. "I will just be a moment, Hans.", she assured as I swayed my legs back and forth. She sat beside me and held my face still. "Now this may sting, but I need you to be brave for me. Alright?" "Alright.", I nodded, immediately wincing as she placed the cloth against my wound. "Momma's almost done...There, that's all." She smiled down at me, tilting my chin up so I could gaze back at her. "Feel better?" "I'm starting to. Thank you, Mother." She smirked and scooted in, wrapping her arm around me. "Now, tell me what happened." I took a deep breath and began, "Well, Liam didn't like the fact that I punched him and-" "Hans...why did you hit your brother?" "Becaus
