Soundscape: Marilyn Montage HD

A one minute animated film for a Soundscape project at Uni. I was inspired by various film and music remixes, such as Pogo's "UPular" and wanted to create a visual assault of celebrities, characters and logos in several styles using duplication and looping to devalue their meaning, much like Andy Warhol's pop art.

Every frame was hand drawn using a black Sharpie pen on paper, scanned and then edited digitally without tracing. The music track was put together using Garage Band loops and Adobe Soundbooth CS4 with help from my boyfriend and advice from other musically adept students. Remixed audio clips are from the following movies and are not owned by me.
