Post-Easter Break and The Bogus Quest

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 8, 2008, 10:57 AM

Hey everyone, I've been so inactive here lately it's a disgrace! *very ashamed* XD
College work has been really weighing me down the past few months, and there's been some family trouble going on for a couple of months now, but I've almost got my work sorted thanks to two weeks off for Easter! ^^
And before my gallery is signed off as abandoned I do have some artwork stashed away that I either haven't uploaded yet or needs a little more work done. It depends whether people want to see my sketches and college work since I haven't completed any paintings lately, though I have some on the go.
So yeah, I chose my specialization last term as well, I was going to go in for graphics but I changed my mind after seeing that I could do animation (2D, Flash, Stop-Motion and possibly 3D, as my college may be getting Maya! ^^) in the Film/Moving Image side of the course. I'm really looking forward to it! :D

I've also been learning a little bass lately which I love, I can do the main riff for Pink Floyd's 'Money' (LOVE this song!), Stevie Wonder's 'Master Blaster (Jammin) and all of Radiohead's 'Nude' from their new album, In Rainbows, which is absolutely amazing. Recently discovered Blue October's music as well (recommended by my boyfriend ^^) they're an American band from Texas who do alternative rock stuff. They use violin in a lot of their songs and sound very unique and the lyrics are really meaningful and poetic. I've only been listening to them a month or so and already they're one of my favourite artists! <3 ^^

Anywho, I have a massive inbox of Deviations from my watchlist to go through, (something like 3,000 images now O.o) and some painting to do, so I'll leave you with a short three-part 3D movie made by one of my college friends, Jay, and my boyfriend Dex, in which they must complete a quest to save a town in Wales from zombies! Enjoy! ^^

The Bogus Quest: Part One
The Bogus Quest: Part Two
The Bogus Quest: Part Three

I'm working on a website for our college work and videos which hopefully will be hosted and running soon! So look out for that sometime! ^^
Thanks for visiting!

People always ask me, "Are you a lover or a fighter?"
I answer "both" because I fight for love.

NASA spent millions of dollars to create a pen that works in space. Russia used a pencil.
Incidentally, a cheap ballpoint pen works just as well.
